AEW Officially Breaks Up Tag Team

AEW has a lot of tag teams going, but they lost one this week during AEW Dark. This could lead to a feud between the two former partners as so many broken up teams tend to do.

Brandon Cutler and Peter Avalon were known as The Initiative with Leva Bates by their side. This week on AEW Dark it appeared that the team broke up.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter confirmed that the Initiative is no longer a faction in AEW. During the episode of Dark, Leva Bates tried to patch things up, but then Cutler accepted the challenge for a singles match against Avalon.

We will have to see what happens with Cutler and Avalon from this point on. Both have struggled to find much footing in AEW, but they were placed together as a team. Now they are on their own once again. It’s likely that Leva Bates will continue to pair up with Peter Avalon as the Librarians.
