Dominik Mysterio Discusses Vince McMahon’s Reaction To SummerSlam Match

Dominik Mysterio didn’t win his SummerSlam match against Seth Rollins, but he did everything he could to impress. That is exactly what happened.

Vince McMahon was very happy with Dominik’s SummerSlam match. Ringside News exclusively reported that he was “super impressed” by Dominik along with so many others backstage.

While speaking to talkSPORT, Dominik described the crazy reaction he got backstage. Everyone was happy with his performance, especially the bossman Vince McMahon.

 “The reaction backstage was crazy. I got very emotional, hugged my mum, hugged my dad, hugged Jamie, Seth – the whole deal. Everyone was very happy and clapping for me, so it was a surreal moment. I definitely gave the bossman [Vince McMahon] a hug afterwards and thanked him for the opportunity. It was just a crazy experience. From seeing other people and other wrestlers finish their matches and walk through gorilla and hug Vince and stuff like that, having that be my turn to do it… I’m forever grateful.”

Dominik Mysterio had a tag team match with his father Rey Mysterio the next night. That was a great first match, but it was ended by Retribution. The story is just getting started for Dominik Mysterio in WWE. He obviously had a great start so far.
