Shaquille O’Neal Wants To Wrestle Cody Rhodes In AEW

AEW and WarnerMedia have a great working relationship. This could come with some major crossover potential as well. Shaquille O’Neal recently inked a new deal with WarnerMedia and this could come with some perks for AEW fans.

It was previously reported that WarnerMedia dropped a pretty big tease about Shaq coming to AEW for some reason. We’re not certainly how serious this situation is, but O’Neal has interest.

When Shaq was asked by Variety about the potential of coming to AEW, he had a very interesting reply. He already has someone in mind that he wouldn’t mind wrestling. He wants to fight the American Nightmare Cody Rhodes.

“I’d love to fight Cody. Write it. Print it. Text it to him. Call AEW up and tell them.”

AEW has already brought in Mike Tyson and others. Perhaps it’s not out of the realm of possibility for Shaq to join AEW for some fun down the line. His appearance could spike the ratings in a big way, but we’ll just have to see what’s in store.
