WWE is bringing the ThunderDome to Friday Night SmackDown, but there are some rules for fans.
1,000 LED boards and drones will be a part of this new cutting-edge presentation. Vince McMahon is highly expecting that this will help bring WWE back to a pre-pandemic viewership number.
The company laid out some rules for the ThunderDome Virtual Fan Experience. They range from not being allowed to smoke to being respectful. Also, fans aren’t allowed to disparage WWE or their sponsors. Promoting third-party brands is also prohibited.
It was also stated in the agreement that nobody in the house should be streaming any other services while a fan is in the ThunderDome. This will make sure that here is a clean connection for the virtual fan experience.
No one in your household should be using your internet connection for other streaming purposes during your participation (e.g. streaming services like Twitch, Netflix, YouTube etc.) We reserve the right to terminate or refuse participation in the WWE ThunderDome if we determine, in our sole discretion, that the video or audio connection to the WWE ThunderDome is unclear or unstable.
The ThunderDome is now available to sign up. You can check out all of that information here.
It is very interesting that they didn’t say in the rules that AEW merchandise is prohibited. Perhaps that is included in promoting third party brands. We’ll have to see how this comes together on Friday Night SmackDown. Are you excited to enter the ThunderDome?
