This was a point that Lance Storm recently made on Twitter. He said that people lie, and opinions change. This was a word of caution for anyone who wants to love or hate a wrestler before seeing them for yourself.

A word of caution to anyone who decides to hate or love a wrestle based on what you’ve heard others say. Go watch the Self Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior DVD and then his HOF induction. People lie and opinions change. Don’t judge too harshly if you’ve never met them.

These are wise words from Lance Storm, because you really can’t judge someone based on what others say. It is always best to form your own opinion about anyone, no matter what you’ve heard.

He used The Ultimate Warrior as an example, but it could go the other way as well. Sometimes once you take a closer look at someone you realize that they aren’t all that great either.
