Cody Says AEW TNT Title Needs A Nickname & Fans Have PLENTY Of Ideas

The AEW TNT Title was won by Cody Rhodes at Double Or Nothing, but they didn’t get the title finished until two weeks before All Out. COVID-19 caused an issue getting the finishing touches put on the new title.

Cody loves the TNT Title. He said the original version was the coolest damn thing he’s ever seen. This new title is missing something: a nickname.

The American Nightmare tweeted out saying that “it needs a nickname…” Fans were not shy whatsoever from throwing out their best ideas.

Names ranged from Belty McBeltface to lil Ted and lil Tony. One fan suggested Sapphire which would be a great name, too. It might be tough to narrow down a name because there were some really good initial reactions.

We’ll pay close attention to AEW commentary in the next few weeks to see if they refer to the title by a nickname. What would you suggest? Sound off in the comments below!!
