WWE NXT Loading Up Next Week’s Episode Without AEW Competition

WWE NXT will run unopposed by AEW Dynamite next week. AEW is being preempted by the NBA Playoffs. Instead, they will run an episode on August 22nd at 6 PM EST.

AEW also has a stacked episode for that special Saturday edition of Dynamite. WWE is loading up NXT for next week as they prepare to run without competition on TNT.

Next week Adam Cole and Pat McAfee will come face-to-face prior to their NXT TakeOver: XXX confrontation. That segment should include plenty of microphone work.

Legado del Fantasma will take on Breezango and Isaiah “Swerve” Scott in six-man tag team action. There will also be two qualifying matches for the NXT North American Title match at TakeOver.

Finn Balor will face Velveteen Dream next week. The winner of that match will get into TakeOver. The same is true for the match between Johnny Gargano and Ridge Holland.
