The Miz Jokes About His WWE Championship Reign

Back in December 2010, The Miz shocked the WWE Universe when he successfully cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on Randy Orton to win his first WWE Championship.

While many fans weren’t sure how he’d fare at the top of the mountain, he did pretty well as champion and managed to carry the belt through to the start of May when he lost it at Extreme Rules to John Cena.

Alas, some fans still don’t actually believe that was a long enough reign.

The Awesome One did manage to main event WrestleMania 27 during his tenure as champion, but he was definitely overshadowed by the ongoing feud between Cena and The Rock.

There have been numerous occasions in the last few years when it’s been clear that Miz is ready for another world title run, and we just hope he gets it before he retires.
