WWE debuted RAW Underground, and everyone wants in on the action. NXT Superstar Xia Li has been in the developmental for the past three years. The Chinese Superstar joined the company in late 2017 and is the first ever Chinese woman to compete in WWE.
Li has competed in both the editions of the Mae Young Classic but came up short each time. Li has also participated in the Women’s Royal Rumble match in 2019 (entering at Number 11) and in 2020 (entering at Number 24) but was eliminated quickly on both occasions.
Li took to her Twitter handle to express her desire to compete on RAW Underground. Li said that the format is a great fit for her and asked the fans if they agreed.
I think the #RawUnderground is perfect fit for me Do you agree?
Li has trained in the martial arts of Wushu and has a good amount of experience in Combat Sports.
We exclusively reported earlier in the week that as of right now, there are no plans for women to be featured on RAW Underground, however, if it does happen, it would be a last-minute addition like most things in WWE today.
Li is not the only woman to have expressed her desire to be featured on RAW Underground. RAW Superstar Liv Morgan and NXT Superstar Aliyah have also shown interest in participating on the new format.
