Eddie Kingston made the most of his time in AEW. He was unable to defeat Cody Rhodes in the TNT Title Open Challenge, but he impressed the powers-that-be enough to snag a job.
Fans started #HireEddieKingston following his passionate promo after Dynamite. This was obviously heard by AEW as they signed Kingston to a deal. The announcement of Kingston’s signing said that “#SignEddieKingston is now #EddieKingstonIsSigned.”
Kingston commented on his AEW signing. He didn’t have much to say in this occasion, but the stray dog now has a new home in All Elite Wrestling.
The #StrayDog is off the chain.
The specifics of Eddie Kingston’s AEW contract were not made known. He likely signed a deal for more than five appearances, but AEW offered that deal to Matt Cardona, so we’ll just have to see what’s in store for Eddie Kingston in AEW.
