Apollo Crews did not wrestle during the Horror Show at Extreme Rules because of a situation involving the coronavirus. It was not 100% confirmed that he has tested positive, but that information is not disclosed by WWE. There is more to the story.

During the Horror Show, MVP stated that he is the new United States Champion. He said Apollo had to forfeit the match, but that’s not the case. Apollo wasn’t even on the Performance Center grounds that day.

Mike Johnson confirmed on PW Insider Elite audio that despite Michael Cole saying that Crews failed his pre-show medical evaluation that’s not the case. Crews didn’t even show up that day. It was also reported that Superstars who worked the show were told that Apollo Crews was not cleared to compete.
