Kevin Owens Comically Explains Why He Hit The Moonsault At WWE Extreme Rules

While Kevin Owens has been made to look fairly strong on WWE programming in the last few months, some fans will question why he was relegated to the kickoff show last night at Extreme Rules.

The man himself decided to poke fun at the decision by changing his Twitter name to “Kickoff” K.O., but thankfully, we still got to see a fun match between him and Murphy.

During the bout Owens actually managed to hit his moonsault on Murphy, leading to the former Universal Champion explaining his thought process on social media.

The blend of comedy and great wrestling that we’ve seen from Owens as a babyface really has been great, and the hope is that he can carry this momentum forward into the rest of 2020 and beyond.

The first step, though, is for him to force his way back onto the main card of these PPV events.
