Taz threw in the towel for Brian Cage at the end of AEW Fight For The Fallen. Cage wasn’t going to tap out to Jon Moxley’s arm submission, so Taz did the best thing he could for his client. The Machine isn’t happy about it.

The originator of the FTW Title explained his actions on social media. It was a way to save his fighter so he can battle another day.

Brian Cage sent out a couple of tweets where he didn’t seem too thrilled about Taz’s decision making at Fight For The Fallen. He considered relieving Taz from his position as his manager as well. He never tapped out and he still believes that nobody is better than him.

It’s been a rough couple of days, and @OfficialTAZ and I have gone back and forth. I’ve considered relieving him of his duties, and wanted to immediately after the match. I’ll wait and see how I feel after the weekend.”

Regardless, I never tapped. I wasn’t gonna tap. I only need one arm to drop mox on his head. I technically may no longer be undefeated, but I’m still unbeaten. And more importantly, the answer to the question “who betta than cage?”, is still NOBODY!

Taz is still representing Brian Cage, but he might be on thin ice. Hopefully, Taz won’t throw the towel in once again for Cage so he doesn’t have a reason to reconsider their working relationship.

Brian Cage might need a manager at a time like this. Another set of eyes could be useful when keeping a lookout for Darby Allin.
