Bobby Lashley celebrated his 44th birthday this week. He received a glowing endorsement from Vince McMahon, but that’s not what Lashley was really looking for from The Chairman.

Lashley and Brock Lesnar have yet to meet in the ring. This has not been talked about in any way backstage for a long time. Lio Rush claims that there was a point in time when WWE was considering it, but it obviously didn’t happen.

The All Mighty tweeted out a thank you to everyone who sent him birthday wishes. What he really wanted for his birthday was a long-awaited match against Brock Lesnar.

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes. Same as last year, my only wish is for @BrockLesnar to finally get in the ring with me.

It appears that Lesnar got #BrockvsBobby started for fans. Let’s see if it takes off. If he can cause enough viral attention you never know if WWE could reconsider their plans.

As of right now, Brock Lesnar isn’t coming back any time soon. Ringside News exclusively reported that The Beast Incarnate was never scheduled for SummerSlam in the first place.
