Karrion Kross’ entry into WWE NXT was proceeded by a run on the indies and Impact Wrestling where he established a reputation for brutality. His time in Lucha Underground as the White Rabbit also got him accustomed to the idea of cinematic matches before it became a regular practice in WWE.
It appears that Karrion Kross is being positioned in the NXT Title picture. The camera found him and Scarlett following Keith Lee’s big win at the Great American Bash.
Kross recently spoke to Digital Spy about his time in Lucha Underground where he said were ahead of their time. He was happy to be a part of Lucha Underground for as much time as he could.
“One of the key people on that show was former WWE and it’s really interesting. I think that the things that we did manifested into multiple different directions.”
“I was very happy, very proud to be a part of that. I learned a lot from being in that realm.”
Karrion Kross has yet to have a cinematic match in WWE. When the subject comes up he will likely have plenty of ideas.
The former Killer Kross admitted that he’s got a few interesting plans that could come to fruition. One of them might appear before the end of 2020.
“I have a couple in mind. And I have a feeling that we may see one before the end of the year.”
Karrion Kross’ time in NXT is just starting and he’s already in a top spot on the roster. We’ll have to see how long he remains in WWE’s developmental program before Vince McMahon capitalizes on his potential.
