A pro wrestler’s trainer is very important to their career. Their trainer gives them the guidance needed to start off their pro wrestling journey in the right direction. Peyton Royce considers herself lucky to have had a coach like Lance Storm.
While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Peyton Royce opened up about her pro wrestling tutelage under Storm. He had already worked with a few Australian performers so she heard good things going into the experience. She had no idea how incredibly beneficial it would be.
“Yea, I did but I knew that was a really important move in my journey to get to the WWE. A lot of people in Australia had taken Lance’s course and I heard nothing but good things about it. I decided that’s what I wanted to do. I wanted to take that step. That’s literally the best thing I could have done for my career. My 3 months with Lance was so incredibly beneficial for so many reasons and I’m so grateful that I got to go while he was still open.”
The IIconics are enjoying another run on the WWE main roster after taking quite a hiatus in 2019. That break for Billie Kay and Peyton Royce gave them plenty of time to rest up and prepare for their return. By the time Peyton Royce came back, Storm was already released as a producer backstage. Hopefully, they get a chance to work with each other again.
