Austin Theory’s name was brought up during the #SpeakingOut movement. It was alleged that he had inappropriate interactions with an underage girl. He has not been back on RAW since.
The former EVOLVE Champion was quickly brought up to the main roster without spending a ton of time in NXT. Following a short stint with Zelina Vega’s stable of Superstars he soon became a disciple of Seth Rollins.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that WWE has not answered any questions regarding Austin Theory’s status. The company confirmed that there is no change to Velveteen Dream’s status, but they are no-selling questions about Austin Theory.
WWE hasn’t responded to any questions on Theory, whose name has also not been mentioned on commentary or his absence when Seth Rollins and Murphy been on TV been acknowledged.
Austin Theory is off WWE television for some reason. It makes no sense why he would suddenly disappear. WWE needs as many Superstars as they can on their shows.
This situation also came around the time when the company conducted widespread coronavirus testing. It was not confirmed why Austin Theory is off television, but the reason might not be a good one at all.
