AEW Fight For The Fallen was dedicated to the victims of gun violence last year. They have a much different cause this time around as AEW is concentrating on the current coronavirus pandemic.

All Elite Wrestling sent out an official release regarding Fight For The Fallen. They also provided information about how the event will help COVID-19 relief. There are currently two charity-driven initiatives associated with AEW Fight For The Fallen.

Funds from the AEW programs will be given to Florida’s First Coast Relief fund and Feeding Northeast Florida. Both charities assist in a “range of health and well-being services for those struggling during this time.”

AEW has also launched a website so fans can donate. The company will also put out a special edition t-shirt and mask for the cause. Tony Khan released a statement on AEW’s efforts to assist in COVID-19 relief.

“The efforts of the First Coast Relief Fund and Feeding Northeast Florida over the past four months have been truly amazing, but unfortunately the battle against this pandemic continues and that means their work is far from over. On behalf of everyone at AEW, and our fans, I thank both groups for their commitment to our home community of Jacksonville and North Florida and hope we can all come together to do what we can to support their mission.”

AEW Fight For The Fallen will air next Wednesday at 8:00 PM EST on TNT. The main event match will be an AEW World Title contest with Jon Moxley vs Brian Cage. You can click here for the rest of the card.
