Konnan’s Mother Passes Away From Coronavirus

Konnan’s family was hit hard by the coronavirus as his mother passed away. Her age was not disclosed by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.

Meltzer stated that Konnan didn’t tell too many people about his mother’s passing. Only those close to him were told about it.

Konnan’s loss is incredible, and our hearts go out to his family during this tragic time. Sadly, he is not the only member of the pro wrestling community who experienced loss, or are in a terrible situation.

Lana just revealed that her mother is in the ICU with COVID-19. Kevin Owens’ grandfather-in-law passed away from coronavirus. They had to watch his funeral via Zoom. That is why he is so adamant about wearing a mask.

Around 30 names in the Lucha community have also lost their lives, or experienced complications due to coronavirus.

There were reportedly more positive COVID-19 tests found within the company after the first wave of around 30. They might have to investigate a biodome idea as so many are finding that as a reasonable option at this point.
