Reason Why WWE Is Bringing Back Recently Released Superstar To RAW This Week

WWE let a number of people go on April 15th including Heath Slater. If you’ve read our previous reports you are aware that The One Man Band will return to Raw this week.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Heath Slater will face Drew McIntyre on the red brand’s show this week. There is a reason for Slater’s return, but it’s not going to make his fans very happy.

We asked our connections in WWE about Heath Slater’s status. We were told this is not a full return. It will likely be just a one-off appearance. Furthermore, it was stated to us that “Heath was brought in to be a foil in Dolph’s story with Drew.”

It was also told to us that McIntyre’s history of being a jobber as a part of 3MB will be alluded to. The WWE Champion will face his old friend Heath Slater this week on Raw, but it won’t really mean anything besides moving McIntyre’s program with Ziggler.
