WWE instituted a new mask mandate backstage in the company. This was reportedly started when a RAW Superstar said something to Vince McMahon about it.
We exclusively reported that WWE’s new mask policy still has some questions regarding the fines. It is said that they must keep them on unless they’re on camera or there will be fines.
Fightful reports that a RAW Superstar returned to the Performance Center “after a hiatus” and he didn’t like what he saw. He went to Vince McMahon and told him that people weren’t wearing their masks or practicing social distancing. This caused McMahon to take action.
We’ve heard that the wrestler expressed his concerns about proper measures not being taken seriously enough, such as mask utilization and social distancing. This led to McMahon adding the rule that masks are mandatory and failure to comply will result in a fine.
It is said that Vince McMahon keeps himself “stowed away in an office” during the tapings. He rarely sees if anyone is sticking to the proper safety procedure, but he does “occasionally” come out to the Gorilla Position.
