Booker T Says Tessa Blanchard Will Be A “Huge Fish In A Small Pond” In AEW

Tessa Blanchard has left Impact Wrestling for good and she is already on WWE’s radar. Many fans want the former Impact World Champion to head to AEW but WWE Hall of Famer Booker T believes otherwise.

We reported earlier that on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T said that he really wishes to see Blanchard in WWE. In the same episode, he revealed his thoughts about Blanchard potentially going to AEW.

Booker said that if Blanchard is to sign with AEW, she’d end up being a “huge fish in a small pond”. The 2-Time Hall of Famer said that if Blanchard wants to put her stamp on the business, she should be looking to go to WWE.

I think in AEW she’ll be a huge fish in a small pond. I think for Tessa Blanchard to go out there and put a stamp on the business, she’s gonna have to go to WWE. She’s gonna have to go there and perform at the highest level under the brightest lights to become as great as I think she wants to be.

AEW Superstar Big Swole recently said that signing with AEW would be the wisest choice for Blanchard. Jim Cornette claimed that Tony Khan should sign Blanchard and put the Women’s Title on her immediately.
