Rusev is no longer a WWE Superstar, and his name is Miro now. He did have plenty of time to experience life as a WWE Superstar, and that included getting yelled at while in NXT.

During one of his recent Twitch sessions, Rusev revealed a time when Corey Graves yelled at him backstage in NXT. He wanted to do something different in a match that Graves didn’t want to do. This caused The Savior Of Misbehavior to yell at Miro.

As Miro told this story, he let Lana know that he never told her about it before that moment. Things seem to be fine between Corey and Miro now as Graves “has changed” since that day.

“Oh, also one time, Corey Graves yelled at me before a match, I never told you that. Because I wanted to do something, he didn’t want to do it. I was like, ‘It’s not really a big deal, you know, it’s just a little thing I want to do’. He said ‘I don’t want to do that.'”

“He was very sour at the time. Corey has changed because he was really sour at the time, because I think he knew that they were kind of looking at me, and he was really sour about that.”

Corey Graves is now in a position where he’s likely getting yelled at by Vince McMahon while SmackDown is on the air. McMahon is notorious for barking orders into the announces’ headsets. It’s interesting how things have been reversed years later.

This could be an exciting time for Miro as his WWE non-compete clause ends on July 18th. We’ll have to see where he ends up next, but those inside WWE stories are likely to keep coming for a while.
