AEW is taping both nights of Fyter Fest at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida on Wednesday, July 1st. Odds are there will be far more masks in use than ever before.

The city of Jacksonville, Florida announced a mandatory mask requirement for all public and indoor locations. This order starts at 5:00 PM EST on Monday, June 29th. There was no time frame of how long this mandatory order will last.

At 5 p.m. today, the City of Jacksonville will be adopting a mandatory mask requirement for public & indoor locations, and in other situations where individuals cannot socially distance. Please continue to practice personal responsibility to help stop the spread of this virus.

There is nothing in the new Jacksonville order that would prohibit Fyter Fest from taking place. They might have to make sure everyone is wearing a mask who isn’t in the match.

The COVID-19 pandemic is ravaging Florida right now. Record numbers of new cases are discovered every day, and something must be done. Since people want to fight against wearing masks, Jacksonville isn’t giving them a choice.

Kevin Owens released a heartfelt video statement about why people should wear masks. Matt Hardy had a very personal message as he begged for America to “get your sh*t together.” We can only hope that this additional effort will help slow the spread of the novel coronavirus.
