The #SpeakingOut movement is entering another day and more allegations could be on the horizon. We’ll have to see what happens next, but there have already been plenty of heartbreaking stories.
AEW is taking this situation very seriously. At this time, they have not responded to recently resurfaced audio from Sammy Guevara, but Jimmy Havoc’s status with the company will be addressed following completion of rehab.
Hangman Page tweeted out a thank you to everyone who has already come forward as part of this movement. It wasn’t easy for any of them to tell their story, but they deserve a lot of gratitude for their bravery.
oh boy what an awful week of news. thank you all for speaking out about abuse and assault in our industry. you might have prevented a lot of abuse from happening to others. i am so sorry some of you have been through these things.
The #SpeakingOut movement is trying to create a much safer space for wrestler and fans alike. Hopefully, this will make a lot of things better for a long time to come thanks to the people who came forward over the past few days.
