The novel coronavirus has not been contained. There is no vaccine, cure, or proven therapy. It is still a big problem, and social distancing and lockdowns helped, but it did not solve the problem, especially in Florida.
Cases of coronavirus have soured in Florida in recent weeks. WWE’s recent positive coronavirus result in NXT was one of many new cases discovered every day.
Click Orlando reports that Ron DeSantis stated that 260 employees of the Orlando International Airport have tested positive for COVID-19. 500 employees were tested. A positive result for over half of the people tested is not a good sign at all, especially for those using that airport.
“[An]airport in Central Florida had a couple of cases, they did the contract tracing,” DeSantis said Tuesday during a news conference. “They looked [at] almost 500 workers [and] 260 people working close together were positive, 52 percent positivity rate on that one.”
This is not a good sign at all. Not all WWE Superstars live within driving distance from the Performance Center. A number of them need to fly. Hopefully, they are taking the proper precautions, especially if they need to use the Orlando International Airport.
WWE was forced to push their SmackDown tapings to June 26th due to delays. People could not be let in the building unless a negative COVID-19 results came in for them.
