WWE is switching things around and that means one SmackDown Superstar is going to RAW.
PW Insider reports that Mustafa Ali has “quietly” been moved to the RAW brand. At this time he is still listed as a SmackDown Superstar on his official WWE profile.
Ali has not been featured much in recent weeks. A lot of fans thought he could be the SmackDown mystery hacker, but that’s probably not the case now. He will be on RAW and we assume that could have been a part of today’s tapings. The problem is that they haven’t started those yet.
At this time, we have not heard that WWE’s television tapings for next week have even started yet. They were running way behind because they can’t let people in unless they have a negative COVID-19 test.
AEW has everyone tested who enters Daily’s Place for Dynamite. Jim Ross stated that he was tested four times in May. We have no idea what the hold up is, but it is causing issues.
Mustafa Ali’s move to Raw could be explained as a trade later on, but we’ll just have to see what WWE does. AJ Styles was moved over to SmackDown from RAW and they said that his trade as for “future considerations.” Perhaps Mustafa Ali is a trade for Styles in this situation.
