WWE discovered a positive coronavirus test within the company. This was rumored to be from an active NXT Superstar. This caused a big change for their taping schedule and that impacted The Bump.
Kayla Braxton was not on the Bump this week. Instead, Matt Camp filled in. He said Braxton was “on assignment.” That assignment is in Orlando at the television tapings for next week.
Kevin Owens was also slated to appear on The Bump today. He could not be on the show either. His absence was addressed briefly at the end of the show. They hoped to have him on again.
R-Truth did appear on The Bump as scheduled. Shotzi Blackheart and Tegan Nox were also on the show. Blackheart and Nox are slated to take on Bayley and Sasha Banks at tonight’s NXT tapings.
Ringside News was the first to exclusively report that WWE was forced to move their television tapings to today. The company needed to use yesterday to conduct widespread coronavirus testing. Everyone was tested and Mojo Rawley even posted a video of his procedure.
This was a long couple of days for the WWE Superstars and it’s not over yet. We will keep a close eye on the events of the day right here at Ringside News.
