WWE has a lot of stories going right now. They might need to trim some things, or combine certain angles. It might include a heel turn along the way.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed WWE’s previous intentions to turn Apollo Crews heel. He seems to have that option open right now as MVP wants to be his new manager.
“That could be a tease too with MVP. I wouldn’t be surprised if that ends up happening because when he had the knee injury thing I thought the idea was for him to come back as a heel and I was pretty much told that it could happen. They hadn’t really decided. So, I thought watching this that it was a tease for him to go heel at some point down the road.”
We’ll have to see what WWE ends up doing with Apollo Crews. He is still United States champion and a smiling babyface. Crews has a ton of potential as well, so a heel turn might do him well if they use him correctly.
MVP seems to be building a powerful stable around him. If he can secure the United States Champion as his client that that will fulfill a wish Paul Heyman had to see MVP manage a title holder.
