Sheamus Reacts To Big Win Against Jeff Hardy At WWE Backlash

It always seems like a foregone conclusion that when there’s a feud between a babyface and a heel which features a serious subject matter, the babyface should come out on top nine times out of ten.

Unfortunately for Jeff Hardy, last night was not one of those times for him as he was beaten by Sheamus at WWE Backlash.

Given the manner in which The Celtic Warrior has been behaving in recent weeks, it should come as no surprise to learn that he wasn’t all too dignified in victory.

This felt like the natural end to the feud, because while it probably should end with Jeff having his hand raised, the win for Sheamus was pretty definitive.

They could always have a rematch at Extreme Rules, but WWE runs the risk of making things feel a bit repetitive – especially with a feud as serious as this one.
