Vince McMahon Didn’t Know Much About Recent NXT Call-Up

Vince McMahon has a lot of people on his payroll. It’s impossible for him to know everyone. He apparently didn’t know who Angel Garza was until he showed up to work on the red team.

Fightful reports that Paul Heyman was the man behind Humberto Carrillo’s push. He wanted him to work with AJ Styles. When it came to Humberto Carrillo’s cousin Angel Garza, McMahon had no idea who he was.

It was said that Vince McMahon didn’t know much about Angel Garza upon his arrival, outside of him being Humberto Carrillo’s cousin.

Angel Garza obviously caught Vince McMahon’s eye. He was on the show consistently since his debut and never went back to NXT as some thought he would after coming in as a replacement for Andrade.

We’ll have to see what’s to come with Angel Garza after Paul Heyman’s exit, but he did have quite a bit of time to establish himself.
