The Miz & John Morrison are going to face Braun Strowman in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match for the Universal Championship at Backlash.

While speaking to GameSpot, John Morrison was asked about the fate of the Universal Title if he and The Miz win it come Sunday.

Morrison said that he has discussed multiple scenarios with The Miz regarding a potential title victory at Backlash. He said that they don’t have problems being co-Champions, in fact, they plan on cutting the title in two and selling replicas for royalty money.

The Shaman of Sexy also revealed another scenario where whoever pins Strowman, gets to be the Champion while the other gets an immediate title shot.

We’ve talked about it both ways. Co-champions would be nice. We could cut the belt in half and make some sort of a Universal Championship pendant. Sell that as merchandise, and probably get a really nice royalty check for that. Or the other way we were thinking it is whoever gets the fall would win. If I win–if I beat Braun–then Miz would get the first shot at me. Or if Miz pins Braun, then I would get the first shot at him.

The chances of either of these scenarios happening are very slim. However, it would certainly be something unique if either of them end up happening.
