WWE has a lot of good ideas floating around backstage, but Vince McMahon is a man who knows what he likes. Obviously, he thinks throwing urine on someone is “good sh*t, pal.”

Fans watched this week as Jeff Hardy threw a comically full cup of pee on Sheamus. He even delivered a line that had to be censored the second time said “piss” because he was talking about the act of relieving himself.
It didn’t take long for fans to realize that this has been done before. It wasn’t deja vu or a glitch in the Matrix. WWE really did this same angle years ago.
A 2006 angle with Shawn Michaels and the McMahons seemed to resemble what happened last night on SmackDown. Then Jeff Hardy used the exact same line before chucking pee on his foes: “It’s better to be pissed off than pissed on.”
You can check out the split screen below to see the similarities. It’s pretty striking that WWE would use this same angle again. Perhaps nobody was around backstage to alert Vince McMahon that he already used the pee throwing trick.
