Triple H Reacts To Drake Maverick Receiving New WWE NXT Contract

In the wake of his defeat on NXT last night, Drake Maverick was finally offered a second chance with the company by none other than Triple H.

It seemed almost inevitable that WWE would keep him on the books, especially in the wake of the reaction to his release video.

Where Maverick goes from here is anyone’s guess, but one thing is clear: HHH sees money in the man formerly known as Rockstar Spud.

It was a story that NXT told really, really well, and now, they can start to tell a whole new story with him.

WWE is bound to give him at least a few years to make his mark in NXT, and when the fans return, they’ll make it clear that they’re a big fan of this underdog story.
