Several former WWE Superstars showed up during a recent Impact Wrestling promo. What does it all mean?

During a recently episode of Oh, You Didn’t Know, it was stated that a couple of the former WWE Superstars who appeared in that Impact Wrestling promo are expected to be at Slammiversary. Since their 90-day non-compete clauses are still going they couldn’t make anything official.

“A source told me about the teases and told me about the 90-day non-compete clauses in place so even if they wanted they couldn’t sign a contract. They did have verbal agreements from a certain number of those names, but they were literally ‘hoping for the best.'”

It was stated that the idea of the video was to tease the possibility of those stars showing up. There was no indication that those names were going to sign.

Just because a former Superstar shows up at Slammiversary doesn’t mean they signed a deal. Deonna Purrazzo is appearing with Impact Wrestling and it was reported that she is on a per date arrangement.

Obviously, Drake Maverick isn’t showing up at Slammiversary since he signed a new WWE contract. He appeared in that promo in old footage of Rockstar Spud.
