They say when you hit a man hard enough you can see his soul leave his body for a moment. That is exactly what Colby Covington wants to do to Drew McIntyre.
Covington recently spoke to Ariel Helwani about his growing feud with Drew McIntyre. He stated that the WWE Champion is lucky there is a quarantine going on so it makes people harder to track down. Colby Covington is looking for the King Of Claymore Country.
When the COVID-19 pandemic is in the past, Covington stated very clearly that he will find Drew McIntyre and “take his soul out of his body.” Let’s see if he can accomplish that.
“Drew McIntyre not only disrespected me, he crossed a line,” Covington said. “Let’s be honest, we’re in quarantine. It’s kind of hard to find people. Normally, I can find people. Everybody knows that. When I wanted to find Dana White, I went and found him. I went to the blackjack table at the Palm, and I confronted him about losing my title shot.
“Drew McIntyre, he’s lucky it’s quarantine right now. It’s hard to find people. I don’t know where anybody is going to be. I don’t know what’s going on in the world because the world’s not right, but I promise you. When things get back to normal, I’m gonna go find Drew McIntyre, I’m gonna hunt him down and take his soul out of his body.”
Colby Covington isn’t the only combat sports star who wants a piece of Drew McIntyre. Tyson Fury also seems to be in line to get a shot at McIntyre.
It’s unclear what brings so much attention like this to Drew McIntyre. He seems to be the target for big money crossover matches which isn’t a terrible spot to be in at all.
