Chris Jericho Explains How Well He Knows Mike Tyson

Mike Tyson brought headlines for AEW when he caused a riot to conclude Dynamite this week. For Chris Jericho, it was a long time coming.

While speaking with ESPN, Chris Jericho stated that in his mind this program with Mike Tyson has spanned a decade. It started when Tyson landed that punch on WWE television so many years ago. Now they are getting a chance to finish things in AEW.

“As far as I’m concerned, I’ve been working with Mike for ten years. Probably seen each other half a dozen times and appeared on camera four or five of those. I know Mike. I think when the idea came for him to be involved with us at AEW, the natural pairing was with Chris Jericho.”

It’s unclear if Mike Tyson vs Chris Jericho is 100% in the works, but Dynamite certainly teased it.

Iron Mike said that he’s coming back and when he does then he’ll kick Chris Jericho’s ass. That sounds like a promise that could bring a lot of money AEW’s way.
