Zelina Vega Reveals If Her WWE In-Ring Career Is Over

Zelina Vega has a stable of clients on RAW, but she’s not mixing it up in the ring anymore. Vega will participate in a mixed tag team match on a very rare occasion, but it’s been a while since we saw what she can do in the ring.

While speaking to Busted Open Radio, Vega was asked if her in-ring career is over. She wants a singles run and won’t feel fulfilled until that happens. Right now her job is to put other Superstars over which is a role she is filling nicely.

“Wrestling is my first love, and I’ll never grow out of that, it’s something that I won’t feel fulfilled unless I get that run, because I truly feel that for me, as a singles competitor, that’s going to be a whole other level. Right now, people are seeing me, my job is to put the other guys over, my job is to make sure my associates, my clients are in the right spot at the right time, making sure I’m talking them up, but when I bring it to myself, I don’t think people are going to be ready for that just yet, and that’s something that I want to be, when it’s going to happen, there is going to be no stopping me there.”

Zelina Vega still trains just as hard as ever. She has a home gym which allows her and Aleister Black to workout and practice kickboxing among other things. We’ll have to see if and when Zelina Vega wrestles again. She obviously can’t wait until that day comes.
