WWE Runs Jeff Hardy Drunk Driving Arrest Angle On SmackDown

WWE Friday Night SmackDown didn’t start off in a way anyone expected. Jeff Hardy was arrested for an apparent DUI.

This week’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown started at the scene of an accident. Elias was on the street and the police were there with paramedics. They were looking for someone who ran him over and then ran a car into a tree.

It didn’t take long for them to figure out that the rental car belonged to Jeff Hardy. They looked for Hardy and eventually found him. They said he smelled of alcohol and then he was cuffed and led away.

Jeff Hardy just came back after spending some time away due to personal issues. He attended rehab after a DUI during that time and has been quite open about his sobriety.
