FIRST LOOK At Cage In WWE Performance Center Before NXT This Week

Matt Riddle will take on Timothy Thatcher in a cage match this week on WWE NXT. The only way a winner can be decided is by KO or submission. Kurt Angle will be on hand to officiate the match to make sure everything is legit.

Riddle spoke openly about how much he likens himself to Kurt Angle. The two did share similar career paths. Now Angle is set to be special referee in one of the most important matches of Matt Riddle’s career. It could be his last in NXT.

There are strong reports that Matt Riddle is getting called up to the main roster this week. He could debut on Friday Night SmackDown this week as well.

Angle sent out an Instagram post to show off the cage in the WWE Performance Center. We’ll just have to wait and see if this is also Matt Riddle’s final NXT match. If it is Riddle’s farewell match then this would be a very appropriate final match for the Original Bro.
