Apollo Is Ready To Be A Fighting Champion Starting Next Week On WWE RAW

While Apollo’s United States Championship win on RAW may have come as something of a surprise, many fans are just happy that he’s being given the opportunity to have a run with a singles title on the main roster.

Whether or not he has a successful title run is a different matter altogether, because as we know, it’s a pretty inconsistent belt when it comes to getting the holder over.

What will help, though, is seeing him defend it on a fairly regular basis.

Being a fighting champion is always a great step in the right direction, and it’s led many to believe that this could be the resumption of the Open Challenge that was such a hit for John Cena back in 2015.

Who will the mystery challenger be? Only time will tell, but it’s definitely interesting that Apollo is the one who gets to pick his poison.
