Matt Riddle just dropped the NXT Tag Team Titles. It appears he’s not long for NXT at this point.

Dave Meltzer noted in his Daily Update that Matt Riddle’s main roster call-up is going to happen very, very soon.

Matt Riddle’s main roster debut right now is scheduled to be imminent, so his cage match with Timothy Thatcher could either be his blow-off or lead to it.

Riddle has a match against Timothy Thatcher this week on WWE NXT. That cage match could be brutal. It might also serve as a send-off.

WWE higher ups have reportedly had heat with Riddle. He spoke openly about it in the past as well. This could be interesting, bro.
