Drew McIntyre and Tyson Fury have kept up a friendly battle of words on social media recently. Things really kicked up a notch when McIntyre picked up the WWE Title at WrestleMania.

While speaking to the Gorilla Position Podcast, Drew McIntyre discussed his friendly beef with Tyson Fury. He stated that the Gypsy King knows how to promote his brand. WWE is a huge entity that he can use to pull off some major promotion.

When it comes to facing Tyson Fury down the line, Drew McIntyre is all about it. He even teased that it could go down at a WWE pay-per-view in the United Kingdom.

“He’s a smart man is Tyson Fury, he gets it. WWE is a global company in 800 million homes, 180 countries, different languages and over a billion social media followers. So you get us in the ring for a big Battle of Britain match one day? Get a UK pay-per-view out of it? I’m all about it.”

The U.K is not opening up for larger events any time soon. AEW had plans to hold Fyter Fest in London, but that needed to be nixed. We’ll have to see if WWE will get back to the U.K for a pay-per-view, but Fury vs McIntyre could be a big money match on the card.
