Vice Drops Bonus Clip From Owen Hart Dark Side Of The Ring Episode

Owen Hart tragically died at Over The Edge in 1999, but he left a ton of stories behind. His legendary life is still celebrated to this day and his ribs were a huge part of who Hart was outside of the squared circle. He also did his share of ribbing inside the ring.

Dark Side Of The Ring dropped a bonus clip from the Owen Hart episode that couldn’t make the broadcast. Hart’s legendary ribs were the focus of this video and many people had stories to tell.

His wife Martha Hart told a story about how she was jogging with her husband. As they passed a group of joggers, Owen yelled back to tell her “stop chasing me!” Martha was so embarrassed when her husband told her that he’d never go out with her in front of so many strangers.

D-Lo Brown told another great story about how Owen would lighten the mood in the ring as well. Hart apparently had an uncanny ability to untie someone’s shoe laces without them knowing it. He even did this to the referee at times.
