The Elite will battle The Inner Circle at Double Or Nothing. The big Stadium Stampede match was filmed today. It sounds like they had a lot in store for that match.

The New York Post spoke to Matt Hardy where he revealed that they had ideas for the street fight, but they decided to pull back. Now they have things stored back for the Stadium Stampede match. He said the street fight that they did on Dynamite was a launching point so there should be a lot of surprises at Double Or Nothing.

“There were a couple things we threw around of doing in the street fight that we decided to kind of pull back a little bit just to save some stuff for the Stadium Stampede and I think it was a very good launching point, the street fight. I loved how we migrated ourselves over towards the football field in the background and the last shot was the dastardly villains and you see their Inner Circle graphic up on the screen behind them. That was beautiful foreshadowing.”

When it comes to cinematic matches, it doesn’t seem like AEW is going that direction right now. They do have some things cooking.

“We definitely talked about it. There are a couple of things we worked on. A lot of it is just really timing. I am positive you will see something before it’s all said and done. You’ll probably see a few things.”

It is not clear which match will main event AEW Double Or Nothing. Jon Moxley’s AEW World Title defense against Brodie Lee could close the show, but fans will likely have plenty to talk about after Double Or Nothing.
