WWE’s Future Plans For Drew McIntyre

WWE has some big plans for Drew McIntyre and it’s not stopping with this title reign according to a recent report.

McIntyre impressed WWE officials with his backstage demeanor and how he conducted himself at events according to Wrestle Talk. This will see a much better run for McIntyre than Jinder Mahal experienced.

WWE management has been so impressed with Drew in recent weeks, that they see him as a main eventer for years to come. We’ve been told that his title reign will almost definitely not be a one-off like we’ve seen with Finn Balor, Jinder Mahal and Kofi Kingston in recent years, so expect to see him at the top of the card for the foreseeable future.

It might be worth noting that Finn Balor’s Universal Title reign was a one-off because he was literally injured as he won it. Then he came back and couldn’t fit back into the main event puzzle for some reason.

WWE has some big plans for the future and Drew McIntyre is obviously a big part of them.
