AEW Double Or Nothing is May 23rd. Plenty of fans are excited and a lot of them have already paid for the event on pay-per-view. They have a solid card booked for the show, but you never know what to expect.

Dax Harwood and Cash Wilder were granted immediate WWE releases. They are free to go where ever they want. Some fans are hoping to see them in Jacksonville. Another match could also include a big surprise.

During PW Insider Elite audio, Mike Johnson mentioned that Drew Gulak could very well be the mystery participant in the Casino Ladder match at Double Or Nothing. His WWE contract ended without any non-compete clause attached.

This could work out in regards to timing. The Casino Ladder match is set up where a surprise could be a part of the match. Two wrestlers will start out the match and a new competitor will be added every 90 seconds until nine wrestlers are in the match.

Competitors will climb the ladder to capture a poker chip worth one title match. The match is over once a wrestler has the chip. All nine wrestlers don’t have to be in the match for it to end.

Some fans have compared the match idea to “Money In The Bank meets Royal Rumble,” but there could be way more to that. The possibility is there for a big surprise, especially since AEW is keeping one competitor a secret until the match.

We’ll have to see if AEW brings in Drew Gulak. He could certainly fit well with their roster. None of the April 15th releases will be available since they are under non-compete clauses until mid-July.
