CM Punk & Steve Austin Remember First Meeting Each Other Almost 25 Years Ago

CM Punk met a lot of legends in his career, but he’ll never forget the first time he encountered Steve Austin. It turns out that The Texas Rattlesnake remembers meeting a young Second City Savior too.

Punk recently tweeted out a throwback picture of himself meeting Steve Austin for the first time. He wasn’t sure what year the photo was taken, but it was the moment when Steve Austin “first got a pic” with CM Punk.

Steve Austin saw the photo floating around on Twitter and he remembers when it was taken, It was taken in 1996 which would have made CM Punk about 17 years old in the photo.

CM Punk isn’t wrestling anymore, but at least he still has plenty of memories. He was a fan before becoming a wrestler, and who wasn’t a Stone Cold fan in 1996?

Maybe Austin and Punk can get together soon for an episode of the Broken Skull Sessions once the COVID-19 pandemic allows for that kind of production to take place. They probably have a lot to talk about.
