Vince McMahon wants his operation to run a certain way. If he sees something that he wants changed he’s going to speak his mind. Nothing gets by Vince McMahon, and his referees might need to be the same way.

Ringside News has learned that Vince McMahon was especially focused on referees during the last set of television tapings. He was concentrated on “the way referees are respected in the ring” during a production meeting.

Producers were very stressed about this new edict from Vince McMahon. We were additionally told that “Vince feels the referees need to be more legit.”

This new directive from Vince McMahon could be why there was such confusion about Seth Rollins & Murphy vs Rey Mysterio & Aleister Black ending via DQ this week. The rule was later explained, but it also stood as an example of the referee enforcing their power.

This isn’t the only change that Vince McMahon ordered this week. He also handed down orders to remove a lot of high spots from matches.
