The Undertaker’s legendary career is captured in the five-part docuseries that WWE produced about the final chapter of his career. The Last Ride name gives fans an idea that Taker’s end is near, but how close is it?
While speaking to Ariel Helwani on ESPN, The Undertaker was asked if the Last Ride series was a swan song itself. The Undertaker replied saying that he’s not going to reveal if the series is his building toward his retirement. WWE hasn’t even aired episode two yet.
“Oh come on, you think I’m gonna give you that answer?! We aren’t even on episode two yet, man.”
Undertaker was then asked if fans will find out that he has already retired at the end of episode five. Taker laughed and said that we’ll have to watch and find out. He wasn’t giving that one away no matter how much he loves Ariel Helwani.
“Man you’ll have to watch it all to find out. Hey, I love ya, brother, but I can’t give you that before episode two comes out. Michelle [McCool] just stepped out, but if she was here she’d have something smart to say because I’ve been retiring at home for at least six years. Every year I’ll come home beat up and it all hurts the next day and I’m like, ‘that’s it.’ All I get is a big eye-roll from her and she’s like, ‘until April comes around.’ She’s been pretty accurate so far.”
A lot of fans are hoping that The Undertaker will wrestle one more time. WWE could be setting up another confrontation for AJ Styles and The Deadman. We’ll just have to see where they can present this match and if there will be fans present.
